GOD HAS BROUGHT US THROUGH MANY STORMS

GOD HAS BROUGHT US THROUGH MANY STORMS:

Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, Depression, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, 9-11, Desert Storm, Iraq, 2008 Recession...and He will bring us through this Coronavirus!

We've faced outside elements and survived:

Storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, fires, tornadoes...

We've faced inside elements and survived: 

Health, family situations/relationships, employment, finances...

God tells us to FEAR NOT...

Honor Him with FAITH, TRUST, HOPE...

His promises:

1. Jesus sees our dilemma...

He saw the disciples straining at the oars because the wind [storm] was against them..." (Mk 6:48) 

“But he knows the way that I take..." (Job 23:10)

​2. Jesus prays for us...

"After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray." (Mk 6:46)

3. Jesus comes to us...

"... Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake." (Mk 6:48)

"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me [CV19]. " (Ps 138:7)  

"And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." (1 Peter 5:10)

4. Jesus will see us thru (calm the storm)...

"Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed," (Mk 6:51)

Before the storm=doubt

after the storm=worship​

What were the MIRACLES that happened during the storm?...

1. Jesus walked on water.

2. Peter walked on water.

3. The storm stopped.

4. Disciples hearts were opened and their faith grew.

Is there always a purpose for our storm?

What miracle will happen when we reach the other side of this storm [CV19]?

Be watchful for that miracle.

JESUS CALMS THE STORM AND SAYS...

PEACE BE STILL!
